Boulevard is a good place to order meat dishes, even simpler things like pork chops really sing. I would skip the fish dishes (other than the tartare). That said there is always a version of tuna tartare appetizer on the menu that is worth ordering. Foie gras is good here too. The desserts are great--especially anything with caramel. The menu changes all the time so it's hard to say for sure what will be available. I haven't been since last November.

The food is really good. Desserts are okay. It's a nice, fun restaurant...

I had a bad, unprofessional experience there though, and feel compeled to mention it every time I talk about Boulevard...

We had an invite to Aqua, but already had reservations at Farallon, which we really enjoyed. I'll post a full report a bit later. :)

Next time! We'll be back in SF again soon for a few days. We were very happy with our choice. Gary Danko is also on my list for next visit! :)
