Goodbye Boat St Cafe

Recommended Posts

I've had many great meals here over the last five years and

was upset to hear that they are being "pushed" out the door.

The atmosphere was everything and I'm glad Renee chose to

move on rather than move in to a new sterile building. Let's

support them this last month and I can't wait to see where

they end up.

Good luck

Welcome, Snooky.

Sorry to hear of your loss. It appears to be a common theme...

There's plenty of discussion regarding restaurants on the way out and those on the way in, in Farewell & Welcome, Restaurants out of biz and starting anew.

What is the actual story on this?  Landlord issues?

There's a story about it in this week's Stranger.

I never got to eat there because they were always full up when I tried.

California was summarized for signing by

I only ate there once for breakfast, and though I thought the food we had was OK, I loved the funky/chic, minimal decor and feel of the place. If they are open for dinner I would be interested in trying them again before they close.

This is very sad. Since I moved to Seattle, I have had lunch there numerous times, although not in the last several months. For people working at the U and Medical Center, it has been a delightful place for lunch.
