Stir fried prawns w/ sweet sour tamarind sauce

Anyone know how it's made? I've had this delicious dish at several Thai places and I often go home dreaming about it...golden stir fried (or sometimes fried) prawns (shrimp) shallow swimming in a bronze tamarind sauce with garnishings of fried shallots...droooool.

Into the Vietnamese Kitchen has a really good stir fried shrimp in tamarind sauce.... you could take a look there.

I don't hav the book in front of me so i can't send a recipe.
