Can someone tell me how to make tofu dumplings like the sister in Eat Drink Man Woman was making?

I can't find anything here or online. Or were they made up for the movie?

I can't find anything here or online.  Or were they made up for the movie?

Can't one adapt the many existing dumpling recipes and substitute the meat (typically ground pork) with shredded (or diced) pressed tofu to make the dumplings?
