Restaurants near Lyon Airport and west

We are will arrive by TGV in Lyon on Sunday at around 5 pm, will pick up a car at de Saint Exuper and will then head west to Randan, passing through St Etienne. Any suggestions for dinner. We are pretty good getting around by car and would love a wonderful meal (not the priciest as we will be quite tired) after a very long day of travel. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

As I learned last Sunday, most restaurants are closed. I would recommend Paul Bocuse's L'Est.
