Does it say #802 on the bottom? Ebay has a few items which look similar to yours. Most of the listings describe it as a deep dish cake pan: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Wear-Ever-Heavy-Aluminum-9-Deep-Dish-Pie-Cake-Pan-802-Made-in-USA/ https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Wear-Ever-Aluminum-Heavy-Deep-Pie-Cake-Insert-Pan-No-802-USA/ https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-WearEver-heavy-duty-aluminum-deep-dish-bowl-cake-pan-802/

Chicken breast stuffed with arugula, cilantro, swiss cheese, and walnuts, served with overcooked white rice. (I was going to make a pilaf, but got lazy.)

At first glance, I see a couple of differences between the two shots. First is that the top shot has a slightly tighter crop than the bottom. The second difference is that the top picture has a greater depth of field, almost all of the dish is in focus. In comparison, only the front half of the dish is in focus in the bottom photo. Putting your new camera on the tripod could affect the depth of field as greater depth of field requires a slower shutter speed.

I'm going to be gone for several weeks so it's time to clean out the fridge. I made this cilantro-carrot soup with most of what was left in the crisper. Not the prettiest, but it tasted good.

He just said that in addition to mung beans, the pancakes also had kimchi and pickles (both homemade). It's a Korean dish, so the recipe is probably similar to this one, although as a vegan he'd omit the pork and use something other than egg as the binder.

I had a couple of vegan guests, so I made a "shepherd's pie" with lentil stew. Served with a shaved brussel sprout salad and mung bean pancakes (which my friend made).

I didn't make the orecchiette. My 'secret' was to tip the store-bought box of dried pasta into a pot of boiling water.
