  1. i had a jacket potato with cheese and beans on saturday night from the spud man on the harbour. quality

  4. i enjoyed a good meal at the cafe last year. didnt find much else of any quality unfortunately. had good fish and chips in kingsland. found most restaurants went for fashion over flavour. europa was a big disappointment. good for a beer on the harbour. and cin cin s is ok for a snack. simon

  6. that was the reason the police came round andy. apparently they dont like it on toast when they are protesting. just being generous
  7. dont want to say to much as we had them target us and the police have been in to warn us. i personally think its a choice to be made by the customer. i dont attack vegetarians for killing sprouts. if it didnt sell it would come off the menu. simple as that.
  8. adrian news a bit slow in the local rag that you have to read ours glad new angel is back it is a big draw for us on the devon coast hopefully it will come together well this time. would of been nice to see a different chef there and john open up somewhere around the area instead though.
  9. i heard of gourmet spot through the restaurant magazine and looked it up on sugar vine they have hundreds of reader reviews i have nt seen any other restaurant with this many customer write ups. also saw the dessert mentioned won restaurant mag dessert of the year. very advanced techniques i hope it all comes together well. good luck to them
  10. have heard it is a guy called alan who used to be chef before robert . may be corrected .
  11. after a few pints a go on the karaoke and watching the locals i am amazed at i still go to a pub.

  16. try the jack in the green in rockbeare near exeter airport . very good pub food. simon
  17. being dropped on is also not pleasant. no mention of the chef on the web site . My old sous went there in november and i have heard nothing of him also.
