  1. Trying to think of a way that might help preserve the color of a fruit when you dehydrate it - specifically, retaining the green color of an apple's skin. Food coloring would of course be cheap and easy, but I'm stubbornly thinking there's got to be a better way. Has anyone tried anything like this before with any success?
