I recently took a friend to T. English for dinner. I thought the food and service were excellent. We could see the kitchen from our table which was fun and entertaining (for me at least!). The flat bread pizza was wonderful, thin and crispy with just enough toppings. My favorite appetizer was the wild mushroom brushetta. The mushrooms were prepared in a marsala cream sauce which was so delicious that we mopped up any extra with the bread from the bread basket. For entrees we ordered the butternut squash tortelli and the gnocci. The tortelli was way too sweet, in my opinion. I wouldn't order it again although the waitress assured us that it was one of the most popular dishes on the menu. The gnocci was perfect, one of my favorite dishes anyway and just nicely done. I plan to visit this restaurant again soon and try some of the salads and more of the pizzas.
