    Beer with poptarts? Have you gone mad? The only correct pairing is a big glass of Tang, freshly mixed of course!
  2. Thank you for the Mattar Panner recipe. I made it last night and it was much better than the recipe I had been using. (Found it online somewhere I think). Served the dish with basmati rice and some truly wretched poori bread. I have tried to make this at least ten times and it never puffs up all the way around and usually tastes greasy. Any suggestions about making poori bread would be most appreciated.
  3. Avacados, bitter greens with tons of garlic, orange juice, and blow pops for some strange reason! Maybe because it's two treats in one, I don't know.
  4. I recently took a friend to T. English for dinner. I thought the food and service were excellent. We could see the kitchen from our table which was fun and entertaining (for me at least!). The flat bread pizza was wonderful, thin and crispy with just enough toppings. My favorite appetizer was the wild mushroom brushetta. The mushrooms were prepared in a marsala cream sauce which was so delicious that we mopped up any extra with the bread from the bread basket. For entrees we ordered the butternut squash tortelli and the gnocci. The tortelli was way too sweet, in my opinion. I wouldn't order it again although the waitress assured us that it was one of the most popular dishes on the menu. The gnocci was perfect, one of my favorite dishes anyway and just nicely done. I plan to visit this restaurant again soon and try some of the salads and more of the pizzas.
