  1. I sure will. My goals are great base for choc and vanila, custards and ices, will be making gelato for the most part because my waist line is on the increase!
  2. ElsieD got it! http://www.chow.com/recipes/14099-frozen-lambic-ice Lindemans is really nice, super fruity and sweet and sour and just a little bit of simple syrup (invert sugar). I feel like Jerry Lee Lewis "breathless" waiting on the machine.
  3. Just ordered a compressor Gelato Maker (Whynter Sno 2 liter machine) and am very excited to make some frozen desserts. My first will be a lambic italian ice, but I am going to get TPS as a standard of measure. This thread has been great for me, I have learned so much. I'm getting excited about making a good base.

    Coke Hacks

    I am excited to get an ice cream maker so I can make coke slushies with invert sugar and lemon. The Mexican coke is da bomb too, I get it at a local grocery store for 1.52 US OTD and I put it either in the freezer or even better covered in ice.
  6. Been researching for quite a while and I found for 220 US you can buy the Whynter sno Ice Cream Maker. It is identical to the Lello 4090 (rumors abound that they make the lello). I will be purchasing it soon. I love ice cream and gelato and sorbetto, but I want a 2 quart machine.
