I learned about the conference one day after I'd made other plans that prevented my attendance. Mostly my fault for not reading eGullet enough, but still a bit of a wrench! I've already learned more from the reports than I usually do in a month, so I would certainly like to attend next year. Location matters only insofar as it affects cost. I'd rather drive than fly and D.C. is in my range. Here's to hoping.
