  1. If you're looking for a boardwalk type pizza, try Palermo's in Royersford. (there's also one in Phoenixville) Everyone who I send over their loves there pizza, they don't have delivery though. I've heard nothing but high regards for Satchmo's!! Lou's Too - you have to try their Lou's Too Italian Special!!! It's awesome! They also have a cheesesteak on garlic bread!
  2. Going with a group of 50 to Baltimore Nov 14th, 15th, 16th, staying at the Sheraton at Inner Harbor with no means of transport (arriving by bus). Looking for some suggestions for 30'ish group of couples, 40'ish group of all guys (about 16), and group of 70 - 80'ish couples. We're in town for Notre Dame - Navy game on Saturday. We were there two years ago and Friday night we went to Phillips...won't be doing that again, Saturday night after the game we just got apps at one of the sports like places at Inner Harbor. I wouldn't mind taking a cab some please close, but I was wondering what places you might suggest. Not all of the above groups will be going to the same place. The guy group will probably seek out a pub, the older group will look for a very close seafood restaurant after which they will retire. The 30 - 40 age group will look for a place for any kind of good food and a place to hang out afterward for a few cocktail or beers. (other than the hotel bar and it's prices)
  3. Actually the dorset naga and bhut jolokia are from India. We've grown them in our garden the last two years. Yes, they are that hot. The tiniest of slivers will leave you burning for hours. One friend wanted to try a piece and wound up with a bloody nose. Almost smells like celery. One strip was enough to make a gallon of pickle slices practically too hot to eat; and that's for those that can tolerate heat very well!
  4. A bradley is on my list of smokers to purchase, but not for a while. Hubby would kill me if I brought another one home! I have four now! Finally got an offset that I hopefully will christen this weekend! Probably just some chicken and fatties.
  5. If you're looking for a small family butcher, Kolb's Meats in Spring City. Half hour - forty-five minutes out of the city.
