  1. Ajian on Route 22West just before you enter N. Plainfield (and just before the new mall) is my favorite - consistently fine sushi and outstanding Udon soup
  2. I like Seabra's Marisqueira a lot, especially when I can sit at the bar - the locals tend to eat at the bar or at the tables in the bar area, and it's a more lively scene than in the back room. Either way, the fish is very good, they have decent bottles of inexpensive Portugese wine, and the staff are accomodating.
  3. Can you tell me which shopping center it is in? I don't know the names of them, but recognize the anchor stores like Macy's or Walmart, etc. Thanks
  4. I haven't been there in a few years, but I used to love La Viet on East Front Street in Plainfield. Everything was very fresh - great spring rolls that weren't fried, wonderful soups and noodle dishes. It seemed to be family owned and was run with a friendly efficiency that made you feel welcome and comfortable. It's on the 2nd floor, but there used to be an awning at street level with 'La Viet' on it. If you go, please post your reaction
