Italianissimo and Marado Blu are in West Cladwell within a block of each other at the Passaic and Bloomfield Ave intersection, both above average. Italianissimo is a BYO. Aria and Bruschetta are also in the vacinity(Fairfield) and quite good as well.

Count me in for a large batch of my famous sangria...

I concur Tommy - that was some pretty amazing garlic bread...Lou - thanks again for a superb lunch...great food, some nice wine, great company - what could be better on a Friday afternoon? The ceviche was so flavorful...flower oysters were right on the mark - and as good a steak sandwich as I have had anywhere...perfect amount of peppers,onions and potato, and again that bread alone makes it worth it. David, it was very nice to meet you and thanks for being our designated photographer(although the food was so good that I think we may have a few nearly empty dish shots - the last thing that came to our minds when those dishes came out of the kitchen was lets get a picture of it )...we did get a blender shot however...so stay tuned... Tommy...Biloxi is a wonderful town...not far from the Ukraine and Columbia (inside joke)

Well I am off to the Bronx to catch the Yanks today...see you all tomorrow - it is 1:00 correct?

I also wouldn't mind if some of that rediculously amazing blue cheese made it's way to my plate at some point

OK...let's shoot for the 8th for lunch...at which time we can negotiate TV appearances, blenders, calendars and whatever other offers may come up...keep in mind however that Lou, Sir Tommy and myself are "high end" commodities ...Lou , as for the menu - how bout lots of steak, lots of garlic bread. lots of cheese, and lots of beer - now that is my type of Friday lunch...

I can't do this Friday...already have plans for lunch but enjoy if you guys make it and Lou I will catch you soon...

South City Grill in Mountain Lakes has a small outdoor dining area...as do both Pazzo Pazzo and Setebello(BYO) in Morristown.

I thought that we had some sort of unspoken/unwritten ban of the above named establishment for at least six months... Tommy - I couldn't agree with you more on this post...there is nothing that I can put my finger on as to what makes this place appealing(other than as mentioned the elaborate wine list), but it seems to indeed stimulate me enough to return...I myself have been there for dinner probably 3 or 4 times in the past several years normally before an event at the Meadowlands...and I'm sure there will be more visits to come...
