James Chatto - Beard Foundation nominee I'm probably way late on this topic - go to Torontolife.com - you will find info on virtually any Toronto spot. I have been dining in Toronto at LEAST 2 meals every month and sometimes more. If you ever need a decent tip on a place - I can give you my 2 cents. Chatto's reviews are usually dead nuts accurate. Canoe, Susur, North 44, Centro, Scaramouche - but how about Pangaea, Rain, Eigensinn Farm ?? I gotta stop - I'm getting goose pimples. For the money - Toronto is a bargain and a negative review can still be the truth.

Addendum - Molto and Joe Bastianich also own Italian Wine Merchants. Am I correct in assuming that Joe is descended from Lydia ? anyone ? andone ? thx

Chef Bourdain - If that's too white collar for ya, I apologize - When I have a great meal or the kitchen goes the extra mile - I like to send back a round of beers to say "Thanks" or if I'm drinking an exceptional wine - I'll offer a glass to the chef. What do you like to see as appeciation from a customer ? Also, As someone who was raised Old School (by Gramps) and shown how and who to tip - Are people getting cheap ? PS Loved KC (Yes, I went Hardcaover when the all the Ruckus stated ) and love the show. Keller Rocks!
