Sorry. Had to close monday. My sister went into labor, and there were no reservations for that evening. Tuesday we were open. If the machine picked up, someone will probably return your call early today. to confrim your reservation.
Curlz you have great taste in restaurants so far... ever been here? Have you been to any places up by me (northern bergen?) or north of paramus? I'd love to hear your and other's comments on Venue and other fine places. Maybe someone else who "drives" has been there and can advise. Thanks again. ← The restaurant is located right on Washington....parking is horrendous. I don't think it is in close walking distance of any of the parking garages located in Hoboken. ← There is a garage located on 3rd and Hudson. 3 Blocks away from the restaurant. During the week it is possible to find street parking but on a weekend, you may have some issues.
Sure. You can go up to as many courses as you like. 15 even if you wish. Keep in mind that you will recieve additional unlisted courses within these tasting menus. I like to define my cuisine as progressive american. We follow in the tradition of michel bras with a little el bulli thrown in.
Ive been searching for a place in the Bergen/Hudson county area that serves a good authentic Paella. Every where I go seems to let me down. Any suggestions?
I know the new GM @ the Copeland. I am sure that in time if he remains there that he will get the service to where it needs to be. Its always very difficult for a new GM to get things to run his or her way. Im sure there is a huge turn over with the wait staff right now. But in due time, the service will be much improved.
Im very excited for this opening. America was a small but beautiful place with a gorgeous bar. I wonder if Sanzari gutted the place out. Who am I kidding! Im sure he did.
I wonder why Daniel only got 2 Michelin Stars? I think Daniel is a much better restaurant than Jean Georges and Ducasse. There must be alot of politics involved in this.
That is so funny! Camper why dont you tell everyone on this forum that you work for the Ryland Inn and that you were the chef at the Lawrenceville Inn. You think people on this forum are stupid! Dont try making yourself and your employer look good at someone elses expense. That is extremely unprofessional and uncool. If the younger generation of chefs need to learn how to season food, then why are you not at Lawrenceville Inn anymore?
Venue's menu style is the same as March in NYC. The" put yourself in our hands concept was adopted from there. " By the way March just recieved 1 Micheline Star as well as WD-50.
