I made Slow Cooker Meatballs and Tomato Sauce and decided to turn them into calzones and sauce to dip in...I'm pleased, nice quick homemade dough. Stuffed with meatballs, pepperoni slices, parm and jalapeno havarti cheese (its what I had) and spinach:

My food prep Sunday got all out of whack. Dinner was ...popcorn at a hockey game! I came home in the evening and started my prep for lunches for the week and tomorrow nights dinner. Winter Root stew is braising in the oven as we speak, this is her JUST before she went into the oven: I also have a Beef and Barley Soup in the Slow Cooker for our lunches.

We had the slow cooker turkey thigh again, I don't usually redo a meal that fast (last week) but it just is working in this freezing cold weather! Today I'm having the broth for lunch its incredible:

I made a Bengali curry, trust me I bastardized it, I'm Irish Chicken, potatoes, raisins, onions carmelaized with ginger for an hour...chicken. Then I decided I'm sure I can make naan...and well..I could! I was doubtful right up to serving...everyone, myself included loved it

Roasted cauliflower and Kale chips are both delish at room temp. If you can reheat scalloped potatoes they would work wonderfully. A friend just gave me a recipe for sweets and beets that I haven't tried yet but sound incredible. Sweet potatoes and beets roasted.

I think your baskets are wonderful!! And yes I'm seeing an apple theme for sure! Candied Apples, dried apples. dried apple wreath? Homemade applesauce? I'd make sure everyone knows your bread is homemade What a treat! If you have a dehydrator you could even make apple potpourri with cinnamon sticks....

Yes Rotus you are exactly right, I cooked the eggs in the same pan with a splash more of bacon fat. BF isn't a huge carb eater. M'self , I have to have toast with eggs

BF has been working every day and long hours, hearty brunch of sausage, peppers and onions, bacon and eggs. The sausage is made locally (two blocks from where I live) She made it three days ago...delicious Portuguese sausage!

I just had leftovers of the Thai Curry..which were delish! So for dessert I made candied bacon POPCORN...the leftovers the Man is going to take to work. They are sweet, salty and savory and crunchy..the best of a lot of worlds...
