  1. The cranberry ginger ale is very good.
  2. Plymouth Gin makes an excellent martini. I don't know too many people who actually enjoy gin, or who can appreciate a good gin. It's one of my favorite spirits. I like my Bloody Marys made with gin rather than vodka, as well.
  3. From ABC 7's website: http://www.wjla.com/news/stories/0504/146717.html Apparently, the only change is in the ownership of the building. While I've never been a huge fan of their products, it's still nice to have them around.
  4. As far as cheap American lagers go, you can certainly do worse than PBR. I feel that it's one of the "premium" cheap piss-water beers
  5. I love the entire Fuller's line. They are available in many beverage shops here in the D.C. area.
  6. FYI, Old Dominion's bourbon stout is officially bottled as Oak Barrel Stout. It's readily available in stores now, and it is quite tasty.
  7. How's the food and drink in this joint? It certainly looks intriguing from the outside. I'm a big fan of German cuisine, and Washingtonian says it's the oldest German restaurant in the city. Their asparagus festival is going on right now.
  8. Have you heard anything on the status of Leesburg Brewing Company? I drove by there a couple of days ago and didn't see any sign of a brewpub in that new building. Is it still in the works? I've not heard a word about it in many months.
