I am the mom of J and I am SO GLAD that I only found out the details of this trip after the fact! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading every last word. Jdad and I had some good laughs at the descriptions of events but wouldn't have found it funny in the least if we'd been aware of the day-to-day while it was happening. So sorry that Ellen lost her traveling companion for the second week and also so sorry that J missed all the fun of the Eagle person (who at least looks awesome, even if his presentation falls short) the felt making, the vodka toasting and all the other fun stuff. Thanks to Ellen for her part in making sure that J survived the bronchitis/TB/SARS.... whatever it was.
