Been cooking all my life, from very little when I ran a breakfast diner out of my parents’ kitchen and my customers were my 8 siblings (yes I charged them…). Worked in all kinds of restaurants and bars through my formative years. Been out the F&B world for decades but once a kitchen hand…Now I count many current F&B folks and lay foodies as friends. Passion for wine (sold broad market for a while in CA until my first child was born). Passion for food. Love going out to a good resto as much as I love cooking. Will eat (try) anything. The kitchen is my happy place…as are city central market type environs around the world. LOVE traveling when possible. I like using Google Maps at home too to explore the world and zoom in until I see the fork/knife icon and I click and explore pics, and menus, and salivate…then I adapt menu items to play with in my own kitchen. I don’t watch ESPN. I watch Chef’s Table. Never met a recipe I haven’t immediately wanted to tweak…hence my screen name.
