  5. Yes. Mario started out in life as a pizza guy in NJ. Seriously. Batali partially underwrote his education at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J., by working at Stuff Yer Face, a local pizza restaurant. And it looks like he's been stuffing it ever since. Sorry, can't stand the guy.
  6. I know it's "no Trio" lol, but i like Red Lobster! I guess i'm just a simpleton. Anyway, i see PR stunt written all over this one.
  7. I wish they'd do a Big Mac junior. Actually i think they tried this once. All the Mac stuff with a single burger on a sesame seed bun- la la la.
  8. McDonald's already sells lobster rolls in New England. No "Mc" name on that one either. Too bad it's a lobster salad roll- not a "hot" lobster roll. We've had the brats here a few times- suck. If you want a brat go to Sheboygan to the Triangle Meat Market and fire them at home.
  9. We had the cheesesteak here in Chicago a couple years ago, and, it was good! Same steak as the b'fast bagel with mozz, grn pep,and onions. Also mayo was on the thing, on a soft hoagie roll.

  11. Try Maurices Piggy Park in Columbia SC. Maurice is a little notorious down the but it's great BBQ. Mustard based sauce-NOT vinegar based- gross! It's sweet. Also Corkys from Memphis ships pork. I prefer Memphis bbq over anything anywhere. Mom lives in SC and just can't believe how those guys will painstakingly smoke a butt all night, chop it and just soak it in white vinegar! Shame! Sorry i didn't provide links, but you'll find.

  13. Watch out in southern SC unless you like your bbq sauce= vinegar, yes, only vinegar. Hog Heaven in Pawley's Island absolutely destroys a butt in this "vinegar based" fashion. Vinegar, and only vinegar.Gross.
  14. Hey Sweet Willie- thanks for the info! I was wondering who was going in there as it looks like they're getting ready to open a new place. That place has been several beef stands since i've lived here. Johnnies from Elmwood,right?
