  1. Don't make me angry, however. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.
  2. Yeah, I'm Stevens warm up guy.
  3. I've never had problems with customs before or retrieving luggage. Does this lead to undue delays?
  4. C46 sounds great. I was reading the thread about it yesterday. I'm up for jellyfish and chicen feet.
  5. Vietnamese, Barbecue, Korean, Spanish/Portuguese are difficult to come by in the UK. I am up for any of those.
  6. I'd definately like to try somewhere in NJ and it would be great to meet you Rosie. I've never visited NJ before so it's all new to me, whatever you guys think, Italian BYO sounds good!
  7. Advice very much appreciated.
  8. I wouldn't mind betting that these were not the finest exampe of the British pea. Aldershot is not commonly recognised as the centre of culinary excellence in the UK. Probably frozen. That said, I quite like frozen peas, especially pureed.
  9. Can we make this Friday do you think?
  10. I'm trying to put one together at the moment. I have lunch on Friday sorted but thats it so far, too much choice!
  11. I think we are meeting at Lissomes place. The earliest I could be there would be around 6.30pm I would guess.
  12. So how was it then Gavin?
  13. My dining experiences have all been qwite formal in Dublin, except for "Captin Americas" in Grafton Street, which is a sort of "Hard Rock" type of place. Perfectly acceptable, lots of U2 memorablia on the walls. Steak was nothing whatsoever to write home about however. I am not aware of anything comperable to Moro etc in Dublin, but I don't know the place that well. One restaurant that did look quite interesting but that I didn't have the chance to try is "Bleu Bistro Moderne" in Dawson street. Theres a little bit about it here along with some other restaurants in the city.
  14. I don't think it's part of the traditional recipe: http://www.thefoodmaven.com/radiorecipes/c...cobb_salad.html But so what? I like them. And subtle variation from cook to cook is part of what these salads are all about. I was only saying to my wife on Saturday that we must dig out a recipe for Cobb salad. And here it is. I know what I'll be having for dinner tonight with the leftovers from yesterday's roast chicken. Thanks Fat Guy.
  15. Tomato sauce! I'll bring a family pack. (Don't they sell these in NY?).
  16. Its just going to be little old me I'm afraid!
  17. Wasn't Andy also meant to bring Heston? :pout: Heston is busy next week, sorry!
  18. The above post was edited by me.
  19. Thanks very much, its appreciated.
  20. Bud lite.....thats, um, my favourite beer of all time, obviously.
  21. Dump sounds good. It's what I've become accustomed to.
  22. And now I've made you. I feel bad now.
  23. I get in to JFK at 15.40.
  24. You don't know how glad I am to hear that. I will be holding you to your promise.
  25. We could keep it going just for the purpose of watching LML and Spencer fight, though. Uh, thanks for that helpful addition to the thread Fat Guy. Obviously the UK board is simply here for your viewing pleasure, anything we can do to keep you entertained.
