In the UK we had ROXOFF , a vodka based drink which fell foul to uk law and disappeared.

A bar in London is now doing aphrodisiac cocktails(shochu/boisbande)

Anything interesting in the States?

Oyster shot.

Or oyster juice -- dunno about it exactly but the Canadians love clam juice (for their Bloody Caesars) so I'm sure oyster juice would be just as good.

Curious.....  There are so few true aphrodisiacs (Spanish fly probably the best known) that I wonder what they are using in such cocktails????

Spanish fly is not a "true" aphrodisiac. It is, however, poisonous.

It doesn't cause arousal; it causes inflammation and swelling. It passes out of the body through the urine, so if you're a guy, it causes an erection, if a girl, swollen clitoris. So it can cause, if you're nitpicky, physical arousal. But it's not really what anyone in his right mind would call an aphrodisiac.

Yum!
