Hows it going?

Im just beginning to understand this RUM thing have always been a fan,

but never knew it was treated like a brandy etc I always mixed mine with coke(sometimes did shots of Woods Navy Rum nasty stuff)

have never had the pleasure to taste some of the great names you guys mention but I am off to ST Lucia in June and already got some advice from ED so I will deffinetly be tasting some and even buying some to bring back home.

look forward to sharing my opinion

Paul

  • 3 weeks later...

Tried a few different rums out there

was a bit suprised in the difference to rum you buy in the states

the St Lucian rums I enjoyed were Chairmans Reserve (which was excellent)

Orange Bliss was also a great summer drink with crushed ice

both of these were recomended by Ed Hamilton

and a couple of other rums

Mount Gay Extra Old I only tried once and was also a pleasure

and Appleton 12 year old was also very enjoyable

I bought a few back and will continue to enjoy

Paul
