2002 Borsao Tres Picos Garnacha - Dark purple in color. Nose shows a lot of bright fruit in the way of blackberry and cherry, with some spice, and a hint of licorice. Flavors show more of the same, with blackberry and cherry, some tart plum, and some spice. The finish is juicy and a little spicy. The tannins are soft, and there is a decent bit of acidity, making it a nice wine for a variety of foods. Relatively simple, but very delicious. A nice way to spend $10. :biggrin:
