1997 J. Voillot Volnay (Les Grands Poisots?)

This was tasted at the November 2003 DC Crü gathering

This was a nice lighter styled red. My TNs started to get pretty thin here, and so did my typing. At one point I got a bit of sweet peppers and jalapeno along with darker fruits. It had fairly blinding acidity, too. Not too shabby. Worth 87 TJ points.

(Jaimetown’s TNs)-- A nice, light-bodied burgundy.

(Fred’s TNs)-- Classic Burgondian PN- really a nice comforting wine. It was 180 degrees different from the Siduri, they really couldn't have been more different. It was a thin wine and that wasn't a bad characteristic. I'm not going to lie I can't really come up with anything more on this.
