l"espalier?

L'Espalier is a more traditional-type French cuisine restaurant. More formal than the alternatives discussed below, which are generally at a similar price level. I would choose Clio or Radius over L'Esaplier. Although I believe each of the three restaurants has areas of weakness, they are among the best restaurants in Boston. Other possibilities include Oleana, which has Mediterranean influences and which I have never visited.

If you prefer *modern* French, perhaps Clio or Radius (with Clio being slightly more French in cuisine composition, in my mind, and Radius being slightly more American, relatively).

hi cabrales, have you tried any restaurants in england?my favorites are lola"s in islington (london),tante claire(sadly gone)in london as well, and the champignon sauvage in cheltenham, have you heard of any of them?

mesquin -- I believe so, with respect to both trying them and having heard of them. My preferred restaurant in the UK is Gordon Ramsay RHR, but I do not believe I have written in a detailed manner about it.
