Shake Shack in Philadelphia

According to Foobooz.com Shake Shack is looking at a Philadelphia location in Center City - maybe in the area of 20th and Sansom.

While it will be good to get Shake Shack hamburgers, I am most excited at the prospect of real frozen custard.

Holly, have you tried Jake's in Paoli yet? I have yet to get there, but brats, cheese curds and custard, oh my!

Just discover Jake's on the web last week. Getting there real soon. Alas, no butter burgers, but everything else appears to be pure Wisconsin frozen custard stand.

Just became official - at least on Twitter - Shake Shack has signed a lease - SW corner of 20th and Sansom, across from Jose Garces' Village Whiskey and diagonally from Capogiro. Shake Shack is targeting to open the second half of 2012 and will have a liquor license.

Kind of an odd location for a place that brings as much traffic as Shake Shack.
