Payard Patisserie

When I was in Las Vegas, Payard wasn't opened yet. Mind you, that didn't stop me from taking some photos. I did the best I can. So, here they are:

Has it opened yet? Payard should have opened on Nov. 20.

Has anybody tried their pastries? If so, how do they taste?

Its open. I just got back yesterday. I didn't go in but it was doing a brisk business! Interestingly, everything else was open on Thanksgiving Day but it was closed.

Payard is now open, the pastries are pretty flawless right now. I was really impressed. Payard himself was very active in the shop when I was there, hopefully they can maintain that quality after he leaves town. Also, from what I've been told, they are having trouble filling some pastry positions. So if any pastry people are interested, there's a great opportunity over there.

Any updates or comments on Payard?  Looks really great.  I'll be in Vegas in a week or so, so I am looking forward to trying it.

I'll be going there in Jan. You'll be there before me. So, you're the man!! Give us a report when you get back!!
