I have found an excellent quick cook compromise. Coaches Oats have an excellent tecture and nutty taste. They are slightly toated. I buy mine in big mylar bags at Costco. Give them a try. For a quick hearty oatmeal fix, far beyon the rolled oats, Coaches Oats cannot be beat. Mike
