I adore sea urchin. I had to go to El Quinto Pino twice in one week to have uni panini.

I know, I can't believe I keep reading that! The servers themselves were courteous (I guess it helped that I got the wine pairing).

Aquavit's buffet brunch (I'm not sure it's on Saturday) is wonderful. All the Scandinavian smorgasbord classics and more.

I so agree, I went on Monday for my SEVENTH time! It was for my birthday as well and a pal wanted to take me (!) because he's wanted to go but has no one who'd want/understand the experience--his girlfriend "ew"s everything. He doesn't eat meat (seafood, yes) and can't drink alcohol. The staff were more than accomodating, giving him some great seafood options and coming up with some great non-alcoholic drinks. There was a "virgin" mohito that was delicious. You're right, Shmily, it is indeed a Dining Experience bar none. While Ko made me feel I should be thankful for getting in, PerSe made me feel that THEY were honored to have little nobody me.

There were a couple of desserts and I'm pretty sure there was one more entree. Maybe it was a special that I overheard at a table nearby? Maybe I was just envious about that chicken that looked and smelled soo great.

Definitely a place to go with someone, there's quite a bit that a solo diner like myself couldn't partake. I was there Wednesday from 5:30-7 and at least 8 chickens were whisked out and then returned to be cut up.
