OK, I was close....had to check back with folks back home.... It is called Droopy’s and it is right across the street from the Harahan bowling alley right at that crazy curve in the road before St.Rita’s

OK, this is my first time to this site, and there is a huge post on sno-balls! I grew up in New Orleans and miss those things! Unfortunately, I have not been to that one. But there is a small place in Metairie call Sal's that I would recommend and if I remember correctly one in (maybe Harahan) call Snoopys (sp?). For what it's worth, my favorite is a strawberry sno-ball with condensed milk on top! Yes, that does exist.
