  1. The LA episode did not have enough food IMO and too much roller derby.
  2. I was so sure Sam was going to be Harold and Marcel was going to be Tiffany!
  3. I got caught up in the Golden Globes and missed the first 40 minutes but was glad I saw the geoduck dig, gypsy dinner and Salumi feast. Brings back lot's of fond memories of meeting Tony last June.
  4. I went today at around 1:15 pm and was seated with no wait. My only interest was in the clam, pancetta, lemon thyme and mozzarella tomato pies. The good news for the tomato pie was the tomato sauce was wonderfully juicy and the crust bubbly and chewy. The bad news was that I tasted no clams, just spicy house pancetta on the one pizza I was most looking forward to liking. Yes, I am a transplanted New Yorker and hold very high expectations of anything having to do with clams on pizza since I am a Lombardis White Clam Pie junkie! But still, at least even it up and give equal flavor to the clams and the pancetta. I will go back to SP but not in a serious rush.
  5. I was lucky enough to attend Tony's dinner at Union in June and he said he really enjoyed the geoduck digging. Salumi will be even more out of control ....especially on Tuesdays when Grandma is there.
  6. I PM'd you. Cremant has the bone marrow the NYTimes raved about and they were good. It was more of a couples restaurant than Lark and some of the dishes had too much cheese like the leeks. Lark was fun because there were so many dishes to chose from and it was a relaxed yet hip atmosphere. The chiken liver parfait with brandied rainier cherries was so yummy!
  7. Relatives were visting for 4 days so we did Green Leaf, Tamarind Tree and Salumi for lunch and then Cremant, Crush, Lark and Matt's for dinner. We were happy everywhere except for some minor dissapointments. My foodie relatives felt that Crush was worth the hype and I personally fell in love with Lark.
  8. I had the escargot/pork dumplings speared by sugar cane and they were so good...lots of escargot in each dumpling. There was a ginger dipping sauce and pickled jicama and carrots that complimented this yummy apetizer. The duck soup was a struggle with the large amounts of skin but the broth was delicious.
  9. Thank you for posting the links! Tony gives incredible detail into what his ordeal was like......I'm so glad they are safely home.
  10. I think Gordon is fed up with Virginia to the point of exasperation! Her tits don't appear big to me but I do think she looks sexy when her hair is down. Heather is looking more and more like the winner and I'm sorry to say but everytime there is a close-up of Keith's face I am reminded of the Troll/son/hero from The Goonies. When you heard which dishes they were going to serve the construction workers for lunch, who did you think was going to win?
  11. I hope Rocco's mother is on the new show since some of the best parts of The Restaurant were when she was on screen.
  12. No, it is located in Old Bellevue on Main on the other side of Bellevue Way.
  13. I was there this morning and the one salad I chose was apparently from yesterday since the lady said it was not fresh, that the bread was soggy. So I guess I'm wondering why it was on display...... I did enjoy the duck leg.
  14. I think I saw them at Belle Pastry in Bellevue on Main Street.
  15. I just started buying Kettle Bakes Fully Loaded Pretzel Chips and man they hit the spot!!
