Hi my name is Mark and I am an avid home cook and kitchen gardener. I love the satisfaction I get from growing my own vegetables and herbs to use in my kitchen. I like to be as self sufficient as possible and provide the majority of fresh vegetables and herbs because I know exactly what’s gone into them. They are organically grown and are companion planted to get the best possible results. Over the past few years I have become interested in growing fungi, Button, Oyster and Shiitake can all be grown in your own garden and used in making beautiful stocks and sauces or just added to a meal.

I spend the majority of my day thinking about the next meal I am going to cook and how I am going to accomplish it with the best results.

I also love to go to good restaurants which I do at least once a week and I love exploring kitchenware shops. When I cook at home, which is every other day of the week that I am not dining out I like to create a meal that could be served in a restaurant. Cooking and gardening are my greatest passions.
