I am the founder and publisher of the Gilded Fork (formerly Gastronomic Meditations), a food and wine portal dedicated to celebrating the sensual pleasures of food. The site was nominated for a World Food Media Award in 2005 for Best Food/Drink Site.
We recently launched the Culinary Podcast Network to gather the web's best food podcasts in one place, and we are delighted with the public's enthusiasm for meaningful food discussion. I've recently launched my own Food Philosophy podcast, so the adventure is an interesting one to say the least. :)
In my previous life, I worked in various corners of the culinary world, most recently as the Director of Culinary Programs for Relais & Chateaux, for whom I launched the Ecole des Chefs program with Relais Gourmands chefs from around the globe.
I have an intense passion for exploring the historical, cultural, sensual, and philosophical roots of cuisine, and my soul lights up when I discover a kindred spirit. This is what life is about. :)
