  1. Our patio is open at lunch, complete with heaters, table cloths, and tastefully set for lunches. We also keep the heaters running in the evening, so the smokers stay toasty warm. Ciao
  2. Gush....... Gahhhhhh
  3. Cobs = Contains Our Best Sawdust.......Yuk. There is better bread in a dumpster behind any Vancouver restaurant. Ciao
  4. Hi Ling We are not open for lunch on Mondays, so we hope to see you Tuesday through Friday for lunch at some point. Our Arancini is pretty much always available, lunch or dinner. Please be sure to introduce yourself when you come by. Ciao
  5. We have a pretty decent menu available for this Valentine's weekend. All items have been priced a la carte, as we are still quite new, and don't want to charge a price per person. The regular menu is available both Saturday and Sunday night in adittion to the Valentine's menu. Then on the big day Monday the Valentine's menu is only available. We do of course have vegetarian options available. Check the Valentine's menu at our website. Most weekends you can find a lovly braised dish as a special. Tonight we did a very classic Osso Buco Alla Milanese.......MMMMM......Braised meat. Ciao
  6. Feng shui and bathroom door locations have little bearing on the cuisine we offer from a beautifully decorated, comfortable room with a clean bright open kitchen. Something to think about. Ciao
  7. Sounds like a great idea to me. Ciao Adesso Chef
  8. When you do get a night off you may also like to sample the foie gras croquette (so called even though it's square!) at C restaurant. It pairs with the Octopus Bacon Wrapped Kagan Bay Scallop, and is warm and runny! Buon appetito! ← Thanks for the tip about C Ciao Adesso Chef
  9. I would like to check out these croquettes, as foie gras to me is much like heaven. I need a night off though. Ciao Adesso Chef
  10. 7 seas on W4th is not a bad bet. Their quality is pretty decent if you ask to see the fish you like the look of. Avoid Granville Island unless you are willing to pay way more for equal to lesser quality. Ciao Adesso Chef
  11. When I read this one I was laghing so hard it brought tears to my eyes. Ive just got to get out to this place for a steaming plate of elk balls......... exquisite! Ciao Adesso Chef
  12. Hello All A location that I feel is bad on W4th is Il Ducato. It's on the South side of the street facing North. Zero sun exposure, and no patio. When you dine there, it kind of feels like your eating in a cave. Ciao Adesso Chef
  13. Nice try Eddy, Luke stays here Ciao Adesso Chef
  14. Things are great Derek, I hope to see you up here soon! Ciao Adesso Chef
  15. Hello Everyone Thanks for the great response to this forum for Adesso Bistro. My name, for those of you that do not know me is Travis Williams. I am the Executive Chef here at Adesso. Along with my Sous Chef Joseph Thomas, and the rest of our crew, our mandate in the kitchen is simple. We are all like minded culinary professionals striving for perfection in our cuisine, using only the finest quality ingredients available. The goals we have set for ourselves are high, but we all agree it is important to have a good time along the way. I like to keep the kitchen environment a positive place to be, where new learning possibilities are always at hand. Along with the support of Luciano, Carol and Gianfranco, we offer a unique product to our area. If anyone has any other questions, I would be more than happy to answer them. I hope to see some of you foodies here soon. Ciao Adesso Chef
