  1. Even though I agree , I still think that any restaurant should have a backup plan just incase. I mean these are people , not machines , everyone can not eat at the same time , some people eat very slow , some very fast(like myself ) besides what if someone orders a steak well done ? that will take a lot of time , right ? Im not saying people take extra 20 minutes after dessert with the coffee , but in my opinion a dining experience should be around 2 hours. But a favorite place like Ray`s has a policy , Im up for that too.
  2. I like the chocolate waffle at Carlye , I like the inside decor , I like the bar , I also think that girl working as a bartender (name should be Janice) is so hot. nothing else I like .

  6. Im also up for a change , try some new things , since I have to run all day tomorrow , I guess my new years eve is tonight
  7. so I was there on tuesday night with a friend at the bar. I must tell , interior design is very impressive. upstairs dining room , private dining room , chefs table , lounge even the restrooms are sick. we ordered couple items from the dining room menu and couple items from the bar menu. I liked the food in overall , mushroom dosa on the dining room menu and lentil doughnuts on the bar menu are must. of course keeping in mind that this is a very new start for them , Im hoping they will get better. I`ll definitely give another try after 3 months or so

  19. It is true most chefs dont work on sundays. I do agree Citronelle will be great but again Michel Richard is not in there on sunday. But that really doesnt make much sense , Im sure they do everything as usual. Equinox is another place that will be open on sunday , I dont know how you feel about this place , but I think its pretty good.
  20. I feel really bad right now I trashed this place , but based on my experience it well deserved to be trashed. I have great respect for restaurant business ,chefs,employee , employer and for the patrons. and its really hard for me to think negative for a restaurant. when I usually go out to dine I do not tell Im in the business and Im very easy , mellow type of customer . Im not saying anything to the owner , Michel , and to the kitchen. but that idiot waiter sucks. I couldnt see the good face of BDC because of that idiot. for this reason Im not returning back , at least for a long time.
  21. you are lucky they offered you second glass of wine . After I ordered a bottle of wine , I had to remind to waiter after 15 minutes . maybe 5 minutes later food arrived and there is still no wine. I was looking for the waiter to ask but he was not around , when he returned on the floor , he asked me which wine I ordered. in the half way of the food , wine arrived . Im well aware I wont find a 5 star service in the middle of the night. and Im sure that waiter is the problem and no matter what he sucked big time. when I get the check (over $100) I left 1 dollar tip for the waiter , but I tipped the busser instead. because he was the one taking my coffee and dessert order and giving me refills on the coffee. I even told him to tell the waiter sucks , I really wish to tell this his face but he wasnt even around. on my way out I talked to a lady I guess she was the hostess , about my experince and only thing she was able to tell me that she was sorry. Is it too hard for a waiter to care about the people in the restaurant ? No , it is not. I`ll also say this is not a French style service.
  22. the people behind us were drinking wine , not using those tiny tequila shots(wine glasses are a little undersized) ,but using really wide and big wine glasses. So I asked the waiter to use the same large glasses at least to swirl the wine and he responded back`` you know what? that bottle they are drinking is $700. you spend that money we give you big glasses`` . this is just a part of rudeness. my question is do they even carry $700 wine ?

I swear to god I was about to finish my very long review about that shitty restaurant , all of a sudden I decided to delete everything I wrote and this place doesnt even deserve such a complain.it is not worthed at all . In my opinion and only one experience , this place sucks very very bad. there is that incredible discrimination and unbelievable inexperienced very rude staff. you will have more fun and better taste if you go and try those pretzel carts by the white house for tourists. If you ask me do not even bother trying this place , do not even walk by this place. But again , this is my opinion.
