    Sounds like a great deal. I look forward to trying it. BTW, James, we had a wonderful meal at your place Saturday night. Two very interesting salads, recommended by our personable young waiter. We both had the Argentine steaks. Delicious. And what a treat to have a "bottomless" Malbec to go with it. This Malbec wasn't as heavy as those I've had in the past, and I meant to write the name down but didn't. Could you please tell me what it was. I think it began with a "G". Thanks.
  3. Went to the Farmhouse last weekend and loved it. Atmosphere is very nice, with the original small rooms kept that way. I had grilled salmon with yummy artichoke risotto. Other entrees were very well liked: flank steak, veal steak and crabcake. Great beer selection. Our personable waitress showed us the downstairs bar and lounge after dinner. There is private seating down there but I would worry about smoking, as it is allowed at the bar. This place is unique in that area.

    We were there Sat. night and I ordered the Wallu. Loved it. BTW, the napoleons are delicious. So glad they got a pastry chef. Last time I was there (quite awhile back) they hadn't found one yet.
  5. to my knowledge the rule is: if you brought it, you can take it--in fact, i read the actual laws about alcohol in restaurants without a lcense and it kinda surprised me how strict it was about how you couldn't even have open wine in the kitchen for cooking, and other pretty harsh restrictions. apparently no one pays attention to that. but anyway, yeah, if you bring it, you can take it. if you buy it, you can't. ← I've been to a few restaurants where I bought it and was allowed to take the unfinished bottle home. Maybe they were bending the rules.
  6. Last time I was there (about 3 weeks ago) the menu was the late winter menu posted earlier in this thread. They may have changed by now. I would ask them. Perhaps they could fax it to you. They're very friendly.

  9. We have a FL reservation in August. I was told to call the restaurant two days in advance to confirm. Can anyone tell me how I can do that without redialing for hours. Thanks.
