  1. My in-law's enjoy casual tea spots not the uber fancy tea experience. I think the Queen Mary for lunch sounds great and I'll check out B & O in Capital Hill. Thanks again for all the great suggestions!
  2. My in-law's are coming to town for two weeks next month. They are very British and love their daily tea and english fare. Does anyone have any suggestions for great tea places ( high tea or just tea house) and good english food. No smoky bars or dive joints. I'm willing to drive so it can be 30-40 miles out of Seattle. Thanks a lot!
  3. I recently tried Ponti's happy hour and really liked it. If you get there by 5pm you can snag a window seat. They have two menus for the bar a 1/2 off appetizer menu and a small lounge menu. We had the hamburger off of the appetizer menu and the calamari both were good. Cheers-

  8. Thanks so much for all the great recommendations! I have moved to the Ballard neighborhood and I'm really loving it. I had a tasty little meal at Portalis and really enjoyed Carmelita's and Cafe Flora. I especially appreciate the list of current favorites restaurants. Thanks a lot! ps. Anyone have a favorite Ethiopian Restaurant?
