  1. I dried orange slices in a food dehydrator I got at Tuesday Morning for $10. I went to put them in my popourri bowl and wondered aloud where all the slices went as there were only two left. DH walked in from our office munching on one.
  2. I loved nutella on fresh croissants. Its also good on graham biscuits. I had a roommate that was allergic to wheat, and she had these fabulous expensive graham biscuits made without wheat...so much better than a graham cracker. It was a fitting vehicle for nutella. I'm now allergic to hazelnuts, but I enjoyed living vicariously through you.
  3. Sweet potatoes. ick ick ick. They were usually in a casserole with a marshmallow topping. There were also sweet potato patties that you pan fried and called "yams". I just could NOT swallow this without gagging or getting the dry heaves. I'll join the ranks of the liver haters. chicken and beef. I'm sure some of you wonderful cooks could make tasty liver, and I would try it...if there was something else to nosh on just in case ) Nasty canned veggies are on my list too. Brussel sprouts.
  4. Mmmm. I'm a carolina girl that brought a 5 gal tub of Eastern NC bbq back to Chicago when I went home at Easter. I hope these great places are still in business when I have children. I've also converted DH (from SC) over to my bbq. The best 'q comes from hole in the wall places though...and they're usually only good at one thing...'Q!
