Thanks so much for the information...I've reserved dinner for two for Tony's appearance at Brasa. Can't wait to see the man again and get the cook book, which promises to be an entertaining read from the excerpts that have been shared so far!

The Oceanaire (sp?) has great drinks...I especially enjoy their Cosmopolitans. You'll pay a goodly amount, but the drinks are bigger than normal and you won't be disappointed. fyi...if you're just there for drinks expect the bar to get crowded early. The food is also exceptional.

From my friend "Sling" in Singapore... "It is has been reported here today (June 1st) that an elderly Thai man has collapsed and died from eating too much durian! Thavin Chaiya,68, was enjoying durian with his friends at an outdoor fruit market in Chaing Mai, Thailand (yes, Tony did a show there...the "road-side sausage addict"), when he fell to the floor in convulsions, presumably from eating "too much" of the stinky fruit. (Me thinks he was done in by the fumes...) Apparently, this is the second such death in Thailand this month due to durian overdose."

I am now truly "hip," it seems!

Nose to Tail has been an inspiration. My husband (main chef around our house) has been stunned and amazed to come home to several "new" and tasty meals. My thanks to you, Tony, for bringing it to my attention!
