    Dogfish Head

The model portion of the April Fool's joke is true. The line of slacks was called Slates. They had an ad campaign using various small business owners. Sam appeared in Sports Illustrated and Rolling Stone (I think I still have a copy around here somewhere). There may have been others.
  4. There is a cask ale event at the Brazen Head next weekend. Additional information available here.
  5. You almost have to pass by one of the best beer bars in the area - Mugs Ale House. And, only about 3 blocks from Mugs is Spuyten Duyvil - a new Belgian-style beer bar that absolutely rocks (Spuyten Duyvil Review) .
  6. I've been a couple of times. It's worth stopping by if your nearby. They have a publike area where you can just drink Brooklyn beers and hang if you're not interested in the tours. Check out the directions and hours at www.brooklynbrewery.com.
  7. Great pics, Rich. Boy, do I miss Philly!

    DeuS Glassware

Thanks. I now have a glass heading this way. A friend from London bought one while in Brugge. He will be bringing it to San Diego in April where I will take possession. What a way to get a beer glass!

    DeuS Glassware

Thanks for the idea. I've ordered from Global Beer on a few occasions. It just didn't occur to me to email and ask if they were going to have them. They just may as they have glasses for other beers from the same brewery.
  13. We're saving that one for our annual New Year's lunch.
  14. We'll mostly be drinking from a 5 liter keg of Olde Hickory Christmas Ale that was a gift. The New Year will be rung in with a Malheur Brut Reserve.

    DeuS Glassware

We purchased one a few weeks ago in Portland, OR, and then 2 at Vintage Cellar in Blacksburg, VA. My inventory indicates they were about $25 a piece in each place. So, $20 a bottle is pretty good. Where is it selling for that?
  16. Hi folks! At the invitation of our esteemed moderator (Rich), I jumped in here to see what's going on. Looks like fun! I noticed several mentions of DeuS (great beer, BTW). I'm in need of a DeuS glass. I found one during a shopping trip to Vintage Cellar in Blacksburg, VA, but need a second. There'll be no drinking of DeuS around here until my beerdrinking significant other and I both have a glass. Has anyone seen them for sale in your beer shopping? Cheers! Cornelia
