    * How many people have been leaping out of bed in the morning and running to their computers so that they can see how Lucy's day is going?

    * How many people have investigated the requirements for obtaining a work visa in France?

    (and how many people felt a pang in their chest when they read the words "after this amazing week is over"?)

  2. Interesting your recipe for Isle Flotant comes from "The Gaslight Gourmet" TV show. The show is made in Canada, & I'm wondering if it's broadcast in your area, or if you got the recipe from the internet.

    Really enjoying reading about your daily life in France, & viewing your photos!

    (We were there about 15 minutes after they opened for the day.)

  4. I don't know what's the matter with me, but we ate fish tacos at SOBO 2 weeks ago, and I can't honestly rave about them the way others have. I'm not saying the tacos & shrimp cakes we ordered weren't tasty, but I was expecting them to be much better after reading the comments here.

    Maybe we hit them on an off day.....

  5. So.....if someone were to go to Tofino in the next few weeks, what places would be open for dinner? Are there enough choices for several nights worth of meals, or should we wait until the winter 'blahs" have passed?
