    Seconding arkestra, I think The Bagel Factory on Robertson is quite similar to I & Joy. Another source of very good, normal-sized bagels (visible holes) is Fred's Bakery, a few blocks south of the Bagel Factory on the west side of Robertson. It's easy to drive right by it. Fred's is also known for its babka.
