I am a transplant from Chicago, where I was born and raised. Currently, I live in St. Paul, MN, where I'm learning to find the ingediants for the the food from home that I crave. I learned to cook by helping my mom and watching my grandma, and on occasion, my father, but have expanded from the homey stuff I love so much to try other cusines and techniques. I also take cooking classes at Cooks of Crocus Hill, read as much fiction as I can, and play with my cats as much as they will allow. I live with my boyfriend, who also likes to cook and experiment, resulting in a very large weight gain since we joined forces. So now I try to walk 10,000 steps and make it to pilates on time.
