Thanks for this article, Tana, and it does lay out some very detailed concepts for each religious group. The only one I can personally vouch for are the restrictions on kosher foods. And the author has a correct take on that it seems.

Seems to me that we had a thread on this exact question in the not too distant past .. will continue my search ... Ming Tsai says one can cool the pastry creme and refrigerate for up to one week .. which I have done without a problem. I personally have frozen pastry creme and defrosted it, whippped it up again, and used it without any problem.

Someone, wiser than I said, "A good life and an easy death to you." So it appears that these came to Julia Child, whose legacy remains indelible in both the videos we watch of her and the books in which her passions shine through her words ... Yes, passion is what made her who she was .. may we all inherit just a few precious ounces of her passion to sweeten our lives today ... She would have nothing less.

I rather doubt that it is possible with chocolate imbued with "spirits" that it is even possible to go too far .. only the limits of your imagination should preclude any options .. go for it! Pleased that you approved my choice of a "quick fix"! -
