Where can one buy foie gras from a butcher etc in Los Angeles?

When I lived in LA, I purchased mine from Bristol Farms. For a while, they actually kept them in stock but if not, I'm sure they could order one. The other spot that might have them in stock is Surfas.

surfas does carry foie gras, but i believe it's all frozen. if you are closer to south pasadena, nicole's gourmet imports always has it.

I remember a place, a small grocery store, on Shoup, just south of Victory (the valley) selling foie - I think a whole lobe was around $90.

just called em-now going under Village Imports. News to me, but still open.
