Wonderful cherry and leather notes that took about 2 hours to open fully. Lot of fruit left in the taste which was big and chewy with a long soft tannin finish. Probably at its peak now. This is a food wine and went very good with an entrecote but even better with a cheese course in particular a St Nectaire cheese that was mild and creamy and really brought out the fruit in the wine.
