After getting a degree in viticulture at Napa Valley College in 2003, he established the Segassia Vineyard that same year. The four-acre vineyard now grows 70 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, 20 percent Merlot and 10 percent Cabernet Franc. He wound up getting a contract with Hall for his 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon, which garnered a 93 rating (out of 100) by famed wine critic Robert Parker
