Unfortunately, Calistoga has become a culinary wasteland, in my opinion. We tried JoLe once, and were not impressed. Agree with you on Brannan's. You might give Solage on the Silverado Trail just south of town a try. It received a pretty decent review from the Chronicle not too long ago. Otherwise, St. Helena a few miles south offers many more choices.
